The 2007 Kaiserpreis Rennen in the Taunus region - near Frankfurt on Main - was the year’s greatest international motor sports event for automobiles manufactured in or before 1925. The elite teams of the most prominent firms from Germany and abroad met up in a spirit of friendly rivalry to compete for the grand prize amid the very same Taunus landscapes – historic, lovely and, thanks to the picturesque roads, unparalleled for automobile racing – in which the 1904 Gordon Bennett Race and the 1907 Kaiserpreis Rennen were staged. The event's organizing "Kaiserpreis Committee" has devoted assiduous care to perfecting preparations for the race – down to the very last detail.
